1. Ruins of St. Paul

Also known as Sam Ba Sing Tzik, the Ruins of St. Paul is among the top attractions in Macau. It is located in close proximity with Macau Museum and Mount Fortress. The remnant of ancient Jesuit church is a sight to admire. The stairway only escalates the charm. It was built using granite and features five tiers. The church is known to be the biggest Catholic church of East Asia.

2. The Venetian

Inspired by the famous canal city of Venice, Venetian indeed will transfer you to Italy. The Venetian is a Las Vegas-styled Venice-themed hotel located in Cotai Strip. The luxurious decor casts magic. This is not just a hotel, it's an entertainment spot where you can shop, eat, and play games till you drop. Of course, the mention of Las Vegas surely had you thinking about the casinos. Yes! The Venetian is where you can try your luck. Don't miss the Gondola ride for an enchanting experience.

3. Senado Square

One of the most happening places in Macau, Senado Square is filled with shops, eating joints, fountain and a well-manicured garden. The European-styled buildings escalates the charm of this place. This festive spot becomes more festive during the Chinese New Year when there are fireworks, dances and parades to keep you hanging around.

4. Macau Tower

The most prominent structure in Macau, the Macau Tower is 338 meter tall structure, built by Gordan Moller. Other than the observation deck from where you get to enjoy mesmerizing views of the city, the Macau Tower features cinema hall, cafes and adventure zone. This also is world's second highest base for bungee jumping; we surely can say this isn't for the faint-hearted. Best time to visit Macau

October to December is the best time to visit Macau. During this time the weather stays pleasant, allowing the travelers to indulge in sightseeing and different activities. This also is a peak season, so make sure that you book your tickets and accommodation well in advance.

On the other hand, May to September is not an ideal time to visit Macau, owing to heat and precipitation. May is the month when there is maximum rainfall and July is hottest with temperatures reaching above 31 degrees celsius. However, day time is usually hot, so you can always head out in the evenings. It's anyway not that bad, plus you can enjoy discounts in tariff and airfare if you are lucky.
