Places to visit in Oslo, Norway

The city of Oslo is becoming desirable destination for tourists and visitors from all over the world. The city has many historical places to visit. Although the city is full of tourists throughout the year, the most desirable period for visiting the city is the summer and winter. Oslo's main street Karl Johans Gata, which is leading from the central station to the palace, is a heaven for shopaholics and most visited place during the summer. But before you start spending your money on clothing, you should take some time to find affordable two-bedroom apartment in Oslo.

If you would decide to stay one or two days in Oslo, then it would be advisable to rent a beautiful bed and breakfast hotel. But if you decide to stay a little bit longer than you should definitely rent apartment in Oslo. Most of the apartments for rent are located near the city center so you won't spend a lot of money on transportation. Walking distance to most attraction, which is great for those who intend to stay in Oslo for a while. Best advise for tourist or travelers is to rent apartment which are fully furnished and equipped with everything necessary for a pleasant vacation. An apartment with completely equipped kitchen will give you freedom of making your own meal and spending you own time as you please. When you are done with finding and renting a fully furnished two-bedroom apartment, you can take time to explore attractions of the city.

There are plenty of places you can visit in Oslo and many attractions worth seeing. The park, located between the parliament and national theater, is turned into an ice-rink in the winter so you can enjoy in ice skating, ice hockey, or curling. If you don't mind taking a short drive from downtown, you can visit Oslo Winter Park. Park offers variety of activities including skiing, snow skating as well as snowboarding. If you are traveling with a family, you should take time for visit to the Zoological Museum where you can see Norwegian animal life exhibition. If you are nature lover, then you should go on the boat trip and enjoy breathtaking fjord scenery.
