Plan The Perfect Tropical Vacation That Will Fit Your Budget

If you are planning a beautiful beach vacation, one of the first places you should consider is Barbados. This amazing country has some of the most beautiful waters and sands you will find at a beach along with the safety that you desire. Of course, all countries come with some safety risks, but compared to others, Barbados is very safe. Plus, you can find some of the most luxurious and beautiful villas and resorts in the world there.

Of course, every vacationer has a budget that must follow, which can become difficult when visiting other tropical locations. Luckily, Barbados is known for having villas that fit almost any budget. They have a range of housing options, but almost any resort you decide to use will have luxury options that often come with added amenities like private pools and secluded beach access. Also, if you prefer to just visit the country and do not mind having a small drive to the beach, there are many great resorts located further inland.

The country itself attracts over 500,000 visitors annually with one of the largest return rates of any Caribbean island. This speaks for itself to those who have never visited, and those who have visited know firsthand why you would want to come back. The area is easily accessible from almost anywhere in the world, with regular flights come in and out of the country. Plus, many from other Caribbean islands come here for a quick trip away with family or friends.

There is one main airport in the area, but it is located relatively close to a variety of the major hubs of the country. Plus, there are many car hires available for you to rent during your stay. Whether you would like to be driven by cab or would like to rent your own car to drive, there is a multitude of options. Many visitors find that they enjoy renting their own vehicle as they can visit a variety of areas for less, plus these can be dropped off right at the airport for you when you get off of your flight.

Of course, one of the biggest concerns of most travelers is the weather you will find there. Nothing can ruin a honeymoon or family getaway quicker than bad weather or even worse a hurricane. Luckily, Barbados is rarely hit by hurricanes, even during the main hurricane season. In fact, the last direct hit was in 1955.

As for the weather itself, you will find that you will have sunshine practically every day of your stay. The country receives between eight and nine hours of sunshine a day, which the driest months being between December and may. Though September through November will often be wetter months, you will usually only receive showers in the early morning or late afternoon. Actually, visiting during these wetter months may be more budget friendly as you will often receive discounts on villas in the off season, plus beaches will be a little more empty and private.

If you are foodie and want to enjoy the local cuisine, you will not be disappointed. You will find several fine dining restaurants on the island, some even located beachfront for a gorgeous view. You will find local options, continental cuisine, and, like most islands, a variety of seafood options. If you are visiting during the peak months, you may want to call ahead to most restaurants to see if a reservation is required.

Overall, Barbados is an excellent choice for your next tropical vacation. You will find villas, restaurants, and activities to fit every sized group and budget. Plus, it is relatively safe, which makes it an amazing place for families, but also a beautiful location to visit for honeymooners. If you have ever considered a trip here, now is the time to start planning that dream getaway.
