Poondi Waterfalls – Adventures Place To Explore Near Palani Hills

Poondi falls is a great place for outdoor camping, hiking and trekking on your way to Kodiakanal from Palani. The best of Kodaikanal is the view, waterfall, natural life and forest whereas Palani is a hill temple, and one among the six Padaiveedu's of Lord Muruga.

If you are in search of a good adventure, as part of your visit to Palani then this is a great place not to miss in your itinerary. It is also a great place for photography. Poondi Falls is situated very close to Poondi which is a village panchayat in Kodaikanal. It is around 42 KM from Kodaikanal, and 100 KM from the famous temple town Palani.

Poondi falls has an inclining tallness and lies inside a woods hold that is unhindered by human infringements. It is tranquil, serene and a genuine safe house for the individuals who need to escape from concrete jungle. A visit to this zone will bring one very close with numerous normal and uncommon types of creatures and plants.

  3. Aanamudi Shola National Park is a protected area located along the Western Ghats in Idukki District, Kerala state, South India. It is composed of Mannavan shola, Idivara shola and Pullardi shola, covering a total area of around 7.5 km
