Weekdays can be hectic for most of the people in Hyderabad. They wait for the weekend to begin, so that they can relax and have fun. They look forward for enjoying, chilling, socializing or just hanging out with family or friends. Not to mention, Hyderabad has a number of weekend hangouts, where Hyderabadis meet to enjoy themselves. Let's take a look at some of the popular hangouts in Hyderabad.

Eat Street – Necklace Road

Situated around the Hussain Sagar lake, Eat street features a great concept of having your favourite food beside the lake. While having your favourite food, you can enjoy the cool breeze and the pleasant view of the lake. You will find variety of food from pizzas to burgers, biryani, chaat items, Chinese and Continental food. You will many people having a good time here.

Prasads Imax

A multiplex that houses movie theatre, food court, game zone and a shopping mall. This makes an excellent place to hang out not only for the elders, but also for kids, youngsters and family. This place is usually crowded in the evenings and during weekends.

Hyderabad Central

Located at Punjagutta road, Hyderabad Central is a multiplex mall. It has about 300 brands from footwear to apparels and accessories for all age groups. Apart from shopping, it also has restaurants, food courts, super market, coffee shop, etc. It is a good place to hangout.

Inorbit Mall

A mall that offers everything under one roof. It is located at Hitech city. This mall is an awesome place to shop, eat, watch a movie and relax. You can spend your whole day and you won't get bored.

Lumbini Park

A perfect place to relax and enjoy in the beautiful green surroundings. The park has fun rides, boating facilities, eateries, musical fountain, along with the pleasant view of Hussain sagar lake. Lumbini park has got everything that will make your day exciting.

NTR Gardens

Located near Lumbini park, NTR garden is a place to spend leisure time. With blooming trees, flowers and shrubs, the garden is beautifully maintained. There is monorail system that takes around the garden, then there are games for children, souvenir shops, restaurants and a lot more. This place is an ideal hangout with family and friends.

Hussain Sagar

On weekends the Tank Bund road is filled with people who come to view the Hussain Sagar lake. People either relax on the beautiful gardens, take a walk on the foot-path or sit on the benches to view the Hussain Sagar. At the centre of the lake the monolith of Lord Buddha is mounted. Major attraction of the lake include boat rides and cruises, that take you from the Lumbini park to the Buddha Statue. Boating at the lake is enjoyable.

In addition to the above mentioned places to hangout in Hyderabad, there are many such places where people like to hangout, like Durgam Cheruvu, Gandipet lake, Necklace road, City Centre, Shilparamam, eateries like Universal bakery, Pizza Den, Gokul chat, etc. and theatres like Tivoli, Cine Planet, etc. So next time you visit Hyderabad make sure you visit at least a few of them.
