Recommended Tour Plan to Experience Best of Sri Lanka in Five Days

Sri Lanka embraces endless coastline, powdery soft sand strips, oodles of rich history, colonial remnants, and lot more compelling tourist attractions, exciting thousands of holidaymakers to look for lucrative deals on flights to this South-East Asian country. For a small country, Sri Lanka is way too diverse and leaves even the veteran travellers baffled. Day 1 – Beautiful Beaches of Negombo

The journey starts with a warm welcome upon arriving at Colombo International Airport. Holidaymakers searching lucrative deals on flights for short trips in Sri Lanka often get puzzled with the large variety of tourist attractions of the country. A majority of the holidays spent here includes visits to royal palaces, holy shrines, and beautiful beaches. Day 2 – Bask in the Heritage of Anuradhapra

Next morning, enjoy breakfast and head to Anuradhapura, the former capital of Sri Lanka. This prehistoric city was established around fifth century B.C. and represents the majestic past of ancient Sri Lanka. Day 3 – Get Up and Close with the Wilderness at Minneriya National Park

Day 4 – Experience the Bustling City Life at Colombo

Travellers can visit Dehiwala Zoo, one of the oldest zoological gardens of Asia, or head to the Beira Lake if they want an escape from the chaotic metropolitan life. On the other hand; Old City Hall, Old Dutch Hospital, and Colombo Fort depict the architectural wonders of various rulers who have dominated Sri Lanka at different eras. Culture vultures can drop in at various art galleries and museums to quench their thirst for arts.

Day 5 – Back To London

Relish breakfast and go shopping or spend the time, before boarding flights, as you wish. In the afternoon, take flights back from Bandaranaike International Airport to London.
