Religious Visit in Varanasi

While talking about the religious destinations in India, the city of Varanasi gives the major attraction towards it. It has the hundreds of religious places that makes the reason of charm to visit millions of visitors. Either visiting alone or with your family, this city offers the best places to view. On the other hand, there are many parks, historical places and glorious sights which make it gorgeous.

New Vishwanath Temple-

This temple is also known as the Vishwanath Mandir and Birla Temple. It is situated in the campus of Benares Hindu University. It has the world's tallest temple tower which dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is 31 km away from Varanasi Airport via NH 31 and 11 km from Varanasi railway station. Many taxi services for airport transfer and railways transfer are working in the city to visit easily.

The Varanasi Golden Temple-

The golden temple in Varanasi is the major attraction visiting through the Ganga Ghats of Varanasi city. The thousands of pilgrims attract towards it while the evening aarti organised. The other name of this temple is the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and it is the major temple at the Ganga Ghats. This temple is 8 km from railway station and 18 km from the Varanasi Airport. You can hire a car in Varanasi from the airport or railway station for pickup & drop services.

Sarnath Stupa-

In Varanasi city, Sarnath Stupa is the major attraction for the visitors and situated in Sarnath. The thousands of tourists arrive from Japan, China, Tibet and Sri Lanka per year. Sarnath is known for the Lord Buddha. Lord Buddha preached his first ceremony here to his five pupils after his enlightenment. It is 9 km from Varanasi railway station and 22 km from the Airport of Varanasi from where many car rentals in Varanasi work for the airport & railway transfer.

The Ghats of Ganga River-

There are many Ghats that become the reason of attraction in the city. The Ghats like Dashashwamedh Ghat, Harishchand Ghat, Manikarnika Ghat, Tulasi Ghat, Gay Ghat and many others are the charm while visiting for Ganga seeing. All these Ghats are known for their own specialities and give the different pleasure of views.

The temples in the city-

Besides of the above-given temples, there are many others such as Bharat Mata Temple, Durga Temple, Tulasi Manas Temple and Hanuman Temple. These temples become the charm at the time of city visit and give the full pleasure for the religious visit.

Whenever visiting this city, you can easily hire cabs in Varanasi and jollify the entire city. There are many taxi service in Varanasi are working 24 x 7 to make the tour easy for the tourists.
