Royal Visit Egypt

Fully escorted from the moment you arrive to Cairo till you depart you can relax in the knowledge that everything has been well planned to make your stay the trip of a lifetime. Tour Itinerary:

Day 01: (Wednesday) Arrive Cairo, clear immigration and customs then staff will transfer you to the historic Mena House Palace where you will enjoy a direct view of the Pyramids of Giza. Overnight Cairo

VISAS: All travelers to Egypt must have a visa. Citizens of most countries can obtain one on arrival. Please let us know what passport you are traveling with and we will confirm whether you can get your's on arrival.

Day 02: (Thursday) International buffet breakfast then tour Sakkarra with the famous step pyramid, Dahshur with the Bent and Red pyramids plus the Imhotep museum. Overnight Cairo (B)
Day 03: (Friday) Enjoy a full international buffet breakfast before starting the day at the Pyramids at Giza, home of the 7th wonder of the world, the Great Pyramid. Visit the inscrutable Sphinx and the solar boat museum. In the evening attend the Giza sound and light show. Overnight Cairo (B)

Day 04: (Saturday) Staff transfers you to the airport, assists with checking in and you fly to Luxor. Arriving staff transfers you to the famous Winter Palace where you will enjoy a Nile view Luxury room. Overnight Luxor (B)

Day 05: (Sunday) After your buffet breakfast enjoy a tour to Dendara and Abydos. Return to Luxor in time to relax before attending the sound and light show at Karnak temple. Overnight Luxor (B)

Day 06: (Monday) Buffet Breakfast, check out, enjoy a tour of West bank sites not included in the cruise program including the Valley of the Queens, the tombs of the nobles and artisans, Medinet Habu, Ramessium, temple of Seti 1. Then staff transfers you to board your Premier 5* Nile Cruise, the M/S St. George where you will enjoy the comfort of a Presidential suite. This luxurious Nile Cruiser was built in Cairo and entered service in late 2006. It has been awarded the Certificate of Excellence from the German Bureau of Shipping (Germanishcher Lloyd) and classifed as an A-1 river ship. All cabins featuring the highest quality furnishings and upscale amenities including Hair Dryers, Safe, Mini-bar, Individual Climate Control, Wireless Internet Access, LCD screen TV, equipped with the latest high tech facilities including a memory stick outlet and a live sailing channel, Double-glass panoramic Windows that open to bring in fresh breezes from the Nile, Direct-dial Telephone, Bathrooms equipped with spa unit, including steam bath, Jacuzzi and water massage.
Have Lunch on board then visit the East Bank sites including Karnak and Luxor Temples plus the Luxor museum. Return to the ship for Dinner. Evening Free. Overnight Luxor (L,D)

Day 07: (Tuesday) Breakfast on board then visit the Necropolis of Thebes on the Nile's western bank, (Valley of the Kings and Queens, Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon). Lunch on board while sailing to Edfu. Afternoon free at your leisure. Afternoon Tea. Dinner on board followed by a Folkloric show. Overnight Edfu (B,L,D)

Day 08: (Wednesday) Breakfast on board followed by a visit to the Temple of Horus in Edfu. Sail to Kom Ombo and have Lunch on board. Visit the Temple Shared by Two Gods: Sobek & Haroeis in Kom Ombo. Afternoon Tea. Egyptian Dinner featuring traditional Egyptian food followed by a Galabya party. Overnight Kom Ombo (B,L,D)

Day 09: (Thursday) Breakfast on board then sail to Aswan. Visit the High Dam, Philae Temple and the Granite Quarries. Lunch on board. FREE BONUS: Sail on the Nile by Felucca (native sailboat). (Please note that these boats are solely wind powered, if there is no wind this will not operate). Return to the ship for Afternoon Tea. Dinner on board followed by a Belly dance and show. Overnight Aswan (B,L,D)

Day 10: (Friday) Breakfast, disembark, Staff transfers you to the airport, assists with checking in and you fly to Abu Simbel with your private guide. Visit the famous temples of Ramses then fly to Cairo. Overnight at the Mena House where you will enjoy a pyramids view palace room.

Day 11: (Saturday) Breakfast, check out, drive to Alexandria, the city Alexander the great built and Cleopatra made famous. Arriving tour the Greco-Roman sites including the catacombs, Pompey's pillar, the amphitheater and museums. Enjoy the comfort of the historic El Zamalek palace in Montazah gardens. Overnight Alexandria (B)

Day 12: (Sunday) After breakfast continue your visit of Alexandria including the National museum and the new library. Return to Cairo in the afternoon and the comfort of the Marriott hotel where you will enjoy an executive level Nile view suite. This property was built as a palace for the Empress Eugenie of Austria to enjoy while attending the opening of the Suez Canal in 1869. Lovingly restored to it's original splendor it's one of the finest historic hotels in the world. Overnight Cairo (B)

Day 13: (Monday) Breakfast then visit the Egyptian museum of Antiquities featuring King Tut's treasures. Marvel at the mummy room. Afterwards visit the famous Khan el Khalili bazaar where travelers have been finding bargains since the middle ages. Overnight Cairo (B)

Day 14: (Tuesday) Breakfast, Visit Old Cairo with it's famous churches and synagogue plus the Citadel of Salah el Din, bane of the crusaders and the Alabaster Mosque and the Gayer Anderson House museum. Overnight Cairo (B)

Day 15: (Wednesday) Check out, Staff transfers you to the airport, assists with exit formalities and checking in for your international departure.
