Carlsbad Spring Village Fair
International food court, arts and crafts, unique booths and lots to shop! The Carlsbad Spring Village Fair is set to be held on 5th May, 2013 from 8am to 5pm at Carlsbad Village in the seaside city of Carlsbad. Considered as the largest one day street fairs in all of California, the bi-annual fair attracts more than 100,000 visitors every year.
There will be more than 900 exhibitors displaying everything up for grabs including antiques, clothes, accessories, home decoration items, art works and many other quality items. With such wide variety of vendors, anything you want to buy is up for sale at the fair.
Carlsbad Spring Village Fair is a haven for food lovers. You will have abundance of dining choices that is sure to please varied taste buds ranging from Thai, Chinese, American, French to Hawaiian cuisine. To keep the children occupied, take them to the Kids entertainment area which includes a rock climbing wall, bounce house, super slide, face painting, arts and crafts and fun games.

20th Annual Sicilian Festival in Little Italy
Get a slice of Italian culture and cuisine at the upcoming Sicilian Festival. The 20th annual Sicilian Festival will take place in Little Italy on May 19, 2013 from 10am to 6pm.
Entertainment will include marching bands consisting of dancers in costumes, and representatives from various San Diego Italian organizations carrying flags from different regions of Sicily and Italy. Enjoy original Sicilian music played by talented musicians and watch lively dance performances.
For food aficionados, Sicilian Festival is the perfect event to try out Sicilian delicacies. Some of the renowned chefs will present demonstrations of delicious Sicilian dishes. A pasta-eating contest will also be held. Relish authentic Sicilian food and enjoy participating in grapes stomping in a barrel.
Also check out the photographs and works by artisans that display Sicilian American culture and heritage. Sicilian Festival is a complete family friendly FREE event.
