Some Orlando Vacation Ideas for Your Family

Teenagers are not always interested in visiting Disney World. Sure they might tolerate it for a bit, but after some time, they will let their displeasure show. You will get a lot of sighs and rolling eyes for every additional hour you spend at Disney World after this. But what else can you do? Is there anything else to do? Here are a few Orlando vacation ideas that can help save your vacation from being a total disaster:

Zip Lining
No roller coaster can compare with the thrill and adrenaline rush of zip lining. Zip Orlando is not too far from Disney World and combines shaky suspension bridges with zip line courses to give you the perfect thrill ride. There are courses for younger kids too. It is an adventure for the whole family to enjoy.

Bowling
Did you know that there is a bowling alley called Splitsville, at Disney World? It is a two story entertainment complex with alleys on floor and a few billiards tables. There are various food items like pizza, burgers, sushi, and sandwiches. Let your teens go bowling and have fun, while your young ones enjoy Disney World.

Movies
Downtown Disney has a huge AMC movie complex. If there is something your kids want to watch on the big screen, this is the place to go. This theater has a unique twist to it. There is a dine-in which allows you to have dinner while watching a movie with your family!

Speed Boats
Disney World also rents out some zippy Sea Racers at its hotel docks and at Downtown Disney. Anyone who doesn't think Disney is cool enough is going to change their mind when they hop onboard one of these boats and see how fast they can go. Wave hopping is another popular activity for the family to take part in.

Bi-plane Rides
If you don't mind going a little further away, head over to Fantasy of Flight. There you can sign up for bi-plane rides. This aviation attraction has rope courses and a zip line which are suitable for children of all ages.

Segway Tour
If your children are at least fourteen years of age, you could consider going on a Segway tour in Celebration, Florida. This town has been designed by Disney and is a nice slice of the past with a downtown area and some waterways and even woods where you may even spot a few gators. There is another tour of Fort Wilderness too but you will have to be at least sixteen years of age to go on that one.

Airboat Ride
How about getting in one of these airboats and soaring across the water at speeds of up to 25 miles per hour? It feels much faster than that and is quite the thrill for sure. You also get to go slowly past a den of alligators. Is there anything cooler?

Consider these out of the ordinary Orlando vacation ideas for your next vacation. This will ensure there is something to keep the entire family interested.
