Take A Break From Chaotic Life & Visit Shirdi, Home Of Shirdi Sai Baba

Being the biggest spiritual nation in the world, there are several holy places in India where one can find peace and get spiritually healed.Shirdi, is one of the popular spiritual destination in India. Each year, thousands of Shri Sai Baba devotees and tourists visit the town for the darshan of Sai Baba. It is a small holy town which falls under the jurisdiction of the government of Maharastra and is approximately 296 km from Mumbai. Goood thing is this that, reaching the town is very easy. The town is well connected by rail and road routes. Addtionaly, the government is also building up Shirdi Airport at Kakdi, which is 14 km south-west to Shirdi. The closest and well connected city to Shirdi is Ahmednager.

Shirdi is best known as the land of 'son of god' Shri Sai Baba. Every activity in the town basically revolves around Shri Sai Baba. His presence can easily be seen in the whole town. If you are looking for ways to get spiritually healed or just want to take a break from the chaotic city life, then visiting Shirdi is the best thing to do. There are several places to visit in Shirdi; Samadhi Mandir, being the main attraction of the town.This temple houses the remains of Saint Sai Baba. Each day, hundreds of Sai devotees start queuing-up in the temple just to get the glimpse of Shri Sai's mortals and get his blessings. Besides Samadhi Mandir, one can also visit Dwarkamayee Masjid, Gurusthan, Lendibagh, Chavadi, Khandoba Temple, Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Temple, and others. These all are basically the temples dispersed around the town and are related to Shri Sai Baba in some way or the other.

The town now also offers other things that you can enjoy whilst your stay in Shirdi. Although the temples are the major attractions in the town, but there are other things to enjoy as well. For example the Wet N Joy Water Park is one of the latest attractions in the town.

Additionally, the town now also nests top rated restaurants and hotels. Matrix Inn Hotel, Shrraddha Sarovar Portico, Sun N Sand, and The Temple View etc. are some of the well known hotels in Shirdi. Each of these hotels encompass all the necessary facilities and stay features that can be found in a top rated hotel. And on top of all, the good thing is, many of these hotels are pretty economical. Plus, one always has the option of local shopping.

Moreover, if you are enjoying your stay in Shirdi, then you also have the chance to make the stay fun and exciting. There are some pretty good tourist destinations near Shirdi including Shingnapur, Nashik, and Ajanta and Ellora Caves.

To sum up all, although Shirdi is all about Sai Baba, temples, and spiritual awakning and renewing, but there are other things to do in Shirdi as well. Lot has changed in the town as well as in Shirdi Tourism but, none affecting the sprit and the message of universal fraternity. Visit the holy town at least once, it's worthed!
