A short description of a big country

Why Chipude?

Chipude was until about 200 years ago in the place of the largest town that La Gomera had. Now, tourists find it small, but cozy and with a special charm that makes them have a wonderful holiday. The Virgen Candelaria Church, dating back to the 16th century is the figure that dominates the main square of the town and also one of its most important attractions, so you have to visit it! Chipude is a mountain village, so prepare yourself with a lot of energy, because you will need it. All mountain villages are always full of energy; one of the proofs stays the annual fiesta that takes place on every 15th of August, fiesta that celebrates the patron saint of the village. You will be charmed with all the colors, the dancing, the food and the good music.
