The City Which Never Sleeps – New York

Nicknamed as 'The city which never sleeps'; New York is one of its kinds in the entire world and true to its reputation. It is the most populous city in the United States of America. It is more commonly referred to as the New York City or simply NYC to distinguish it from the State of New York. It is situated on one of the world's largest natural harbors and has many of the star attractions of the world.

Midtown Manhattan has few of the city's most iconic structures including the Chrysler Building, the Empire State Building, and the United Nations Headquarters. It is also the hub of world renowned commercial zones; The Times Square, The New York Stock Exchange and The Broadway. Another wonder of the world that the city holds is the famous Statue of Liberty in the middle of New York Harbor. The Brooklyn Bridge; a National Historic Landmark makes quite a view in itself. The Central Park and The Metropolitan Museum of Art are a must see on a visit to New York City. The city holds so many treasures in its chest that it is almost impossible to explore all the five boroughs in one trip, so you might want to get ready for a second or third trip soon. A smart choice would be to go slow so that you are able to enjoy the city to your heart's content.

In NYC, summers are a good time for visitors to visit especially the ones inclined towards art and cultural programs. As the city has much to offer as the warm weather descends upon all. The plethora of outdoor activities takes a hike leaving its visitors with plenty on the plate. The iconic structures of New York make a splendid New York skyline which is truly awesome. Take an elevator to the 86th-floor of the Empire State Building to see divine beauty amidst the concrete structures or flights to New York can also give you an aerial view of the magnificent and picturesque sight.
