The Highest Capital in The World La Paz Bolivia

La Paz is a capital and an administrative center of the beautiful and cultural country Bolivia. La Paz is interesting for its interesting culture and beautiful nature. It is situated high in the mighty Andes Mountains; in fact La Paz is the highest capital in the world. Its total height is 3, 600 meters.

La Paz location is the only capital in Latin America that is situated in the canyon. This canyon was created by the biggest river in the country Choqeapu.

Bolivian capital is also interesting due to its history. Just like most of Southern America countries it was founded by Spanish explor5ers who came here as conquerors. They were simply looking for gold and silver but very soon they decided to make La Paz an administrative and cultural center of the whole province. But there are also numerous Indian tribes that used to inhabit the country long ago before Spanish invasion.

The city is known between locals as “Nuestra Senora La Paz” which literally means our majesty La Paz. The city is famous for its historical sites that are mostly presented in Catholic churches and cathedrals.

In La Paz you can find one of the most cultural streets Calle Jaen, which has 10 streets in a row. The street is believed to be a home to the best Bolivian museums. Each museum presents history, culture, music and geography of the country. After you explore Calle Jaen you might want to go sightseeing and if you are done even with this there are various options in entertainment.

La Paz is believed to be a center of most night clubs, restaurants and bars. It is said to have 3 main districts for partying that vary in terms of budget and personal preferences. Luxurious nightclubs and restaurants are situated in the upper side of the city while a budget or let it be called student places with jazz and rock &roll pubs are located in the lower part of La Paz.

Taken to account the above mentioned it can be said that there are lots of interesting things to be done and lots of interesting sites to be visited in the capital. But what strikes the most in Bolivian capital it its breathtaking nature: its mountains, exotic nature and wonderful animal world.
