Experience Peace and beautiful views at Shanti Stupa-

Must see the Hemis Monastery-

Hemis Monastery situated a little away from the main city. It holds Holy Thangkas, Stupa of gold and silver as well as Copper Statues of Buddha.

Visit Alchi to see beautiful artwork-

It has detailed wood carvings and artistic wall paintings. It is an ideal place for art lovers.

Confluence of Indus & Zanskar River-

It sounded strange to us before seeing the two hued confluences of Indus and Zanskar River.

Gurudwara Pathar Sahib-

According to the beliefs, this Gurudwara stands at the spot where Guru Nanak defeat a mighty demon, who tried to crush him by rolling a big rock to downhill, while Guru Nanak was doing meditation. That rock can be seen inside the Gurudwara with the impression of Guru Nanak's back.

Drive through Khardung La-

Chang La Pass-

Chang La Pass known for its great height lies on the way to Pangong Lake. The special pass is required to traverse.

In this festival, villager wears their traditional costumes they dance and sing folk songs. The festival also features musical concerts, dances performed by masked Lamas only from the selected monasteries, and mock traditional marriage ceremonies.

Losar Festival in Leh-

The festival is celebrated with a lot of joy and fervor. The festival includes dancing, singing, rejoicing and merry making. This festival lasts for two weeks in December and January.

Hemis Festival in Leh-

Hemis Festival is held mostly in the month of June or sometimes in the July with a beautiful view of music, masked dances, dragon dances, and many other exciting cultural events.

Dosmoche Festival in Leh-

This festival is held in the second half of February. Dosmoche is one of the New Year festivals. At Dosmoche, a great wooden mast decorated with streamers and religious emblem is erected.

Sindhu Darshan Festival in Leh-

The festival of Sindhu Darshan is a celebration for river Sindhu, also known as the Indus River. This festival projects the Sindhu River as a symbol of multi-dimensional cultural identity, communal harmony in India.
