Thrilling Rajasthan Tours Where Good Times Begin

Just think about visiting Rajasthan and your face brightens instantly. If you have never been to Rajasthan before, waste no time in planning your tour. An experience such as this is a must for everyone at least once in your life.

Rajasthan Tours have every conceivable element included – be it fun, adventure, history, culture or even pilgrimage. There are ancient attractions, modern facilities, youthful cheer and grand delights in store for everyone in Rajasthan. Rajasthan proudly showcases the most grand forts and palaces, dense vegetation within which fierce beasts lurk, sand dunes which challenge you with their varied terrain and the most extravagant hotels and resorts that soothe you with their comfort after a long day's work. Here are some places in Rajasthan that are a must see.

Jaipur –This is the capital of Rajasthan, and where plenty of action is. It is also called the Pink City, due to several structures that were made with the use of pink sandstone. While the stone itself is obsolete in its use today, the name still remains. There are several other landmarks in Jaipur which are exquisite, including the Hawa Mahal, Amber Fort, the Albert Hall Museum and the Jantar Mantar.

Jodhpur – Continuing with the play on colour, this city is also known as the Blue City or the Sun City from the abundance of sunshine that it enjoys through most parts of the year. Jodhpur is the second largest city in the state of Rajasthan, and has several important structures like the Umaid Bhavan Palace, the Balsamand Lake with the palace and also the Mehrangarh Fort, which contains a beautiful museum within it.

Jaisalmer – This city is located in the heart of the Thar Desert, and embodies desert life fully. The Golden Fort, the Camel Safari, and the Jain temples along with the shimmering sand dunes give this city the title Golden City of India. It is also fondly called mini Rajasthan, since it embodies every symbol that the state stands for.

Bikaner – Bikaner is rich and enjoys a great historical relevance in Rajasthan. It has garnered great popularity because of the forts, grand buildings and also experiences within. The Deshnoke rat temple, Junagarh fort, Lalgarh palace and the Camel Breeding Farm are great experiences.

Udaipur – This is the most interesting and popular cities in Rajasthan. A judicious mix of palaces, lakes, temples and also museums, Udaipur is holiday paradise. There is warmth all over the city, and there is so much to be experienced that days cannot suffice. This is among the grandest cities in Rajasthan, and has plenty of youthful activity too. Among the major attractions are the Udai Sagar Lake, Lake Palace, Pichola Lake, City Palace and Folk Art Museum.

While these are among the main tourist centres, they are certainly not the only ones. Several other towns and cities have enough to keep you stimulated and on edge. Every inch of Rajasthan has something to take back – a memory, a gift, a picture, or even a friend!
