Tips And Things to Do in Vanuatu to Make Your Trip Memorable

When people say 'vacation', some words that spring to mind include; sun, golden beaches, cocktails and clear blue skies. There is nothing quite like relaxing on the beach accompanied by the sound of waves gently lapping the shore and sand between your feet as you immerse yourself in island culture. Vanuatu offers the experience of a lifetime to anyone ready to take a break. But before you go, you should have an idea of what's available so you can make the most out of the trip. Here is a list of some great activities for the family:

Scuba Diving

Staying under water for long periods at a time doesn't seem like a natural thing to do as a human. But scuba diving has to be one of the most invigorating activities around; even more so when you are in a location with some of the best marine life in the world. It doesn't matter if you have never done it before, or you are a professional – there are dives for everyone; and each dive will be an adventure.

Golf

If you want to take it slow yet still get the fresh ocean breeze, you can give golf a try. Port Villa Golf & Country Club has an 18 hole golf course to die for.

Fishing

Fishing in Vanuatu has a bit of an advantage over other places in the world. It's the fact that you can see straight to the bottom, due to pristine water conditions. Known for big game fishing, it will be hard to miss a 500kg Blue Marlin swimming underneath your boat.

Massage and Beauty Treatment

If you feel you're starting to turn pink from the sun; take a break and have a personal masseuse to come to your villa, so you can further unwind from the stresses of life.

Scenic Flight

A plane or helicopter can take you to all the juicy places in and around the island. Don't forget to take lunch if you decide to get dropped off on a private island to enjoy the solitude.

Ekasup Cultural Village

It's hard to say you have had a fulfilled vacation when you haven't experienced the traditional island life. The Ekasup cultural village is only a 10 minute drive from Port Villa; so there is no reason not to. There are two tours every day, which drive you from the villa to the village and back.

Vanuatu provides some of the best scenery and experiences on Earth. The magical place will make you go back to your normal life fully refreshed and rejuvenated.
