Amboseli National Park, the 2nd most renowned animal park after Maasai Mara, is 260km from Nairobi, on the border with the adjacent country of Tanzania. The park is well-known for its massive herds of free-ranging African elephants. There are more than 900 African elephants in Amboseli, and large herds of wildebeests and several other animals encompassing giraffes, African lions, monkeys, zebras, hyenas, and antelope. With its magnificent view of Mt Kilimanjaro Amboseli National Park provides a unique & breathtaking background for viewing Africa's animals. There's also a range of Kenya birds, both large & small, to observe if you keep your eyes open & stop at every sighting.Horse ride along the treks of Amboseli National Park and surrounding is truly stunning.
