Thought the construction of the fort started in 1459 AD, but as it took many years for it, hence one could very clearly spot the different archeological styles in the fort.

Jaswant Thada: Being built in the memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh, this marble fort is a place that you must not miss in your Jodhpur trip. The craving in the monument is something that will make you a big fan of the place. The gazebos, pond and garden here is something that enhances its beauty even more.

Ummaid Bhawan Palace: It is situated in the highest point of the city, is one of the prime locations of the city. The palace which is now converted into museum exhibits the combination of both Indian and European style architecture. The royal family still lives in one part of the palace.

Mandore Gardens: This is a very beautiful location of the city, and definitely a place that attracts the maximum number of crowd. There is a government museum in the garden and a hall of 33 Crore Indian gods here that makes the place more scenic.

Kailana Lake: It is another artificial lake of Rajasthan, but is definitely something that makes the place even more beautiful. The lake is located in the western part of the city and a perfect birdwatchers paradise as well. If you wish to capture sunset at Jodhpur then head towards Kailana Lake.
