Top 6 Most Gorgeous Peaks In The Nepal Himalayas

Not sure about what are the most gorgeous peaks in the Himalayas? Here is a quick guide what I believe are the top peaks in Nepal Himalayas. This list is in no particular order.

Machapuchare: If you're trekking to Annapurna Base Camp this remarkable 6,993m peaks towers above you as you make your way to the Annapurna Sanctuary. The summit itself is recognized holy & has never been climbed. On a clear day you can see this peak from Pokhra.

Dhaulagir: This is the world's seventh highest peak & in Sanskrit idiom it signifies dazzling white. It was named so because it's usually visible form a great distance from the Indian plains. It's detached from Annapurna I by the Kali Gandaki River Gorge which is usually known as the globe's deepest canyon. This is a must explore peak when you are on a trip of trekking in Nepal.

Ama Dablam: This is a popular Himalayan peak for trekking expeditions and is a prominent peak that is regularly visible on the Everest Base Camp trek. Ama Dablam denotes “Mothers' Necklace” in Nepali and is in reference to the hanging glaciers that fall off the peaks icy ledges. It has also been referred to as a “Matterhorn” of the Himalayas. It first comes into view on the Everest Trek as you depart Namche.

Pumori: Measuring 23,494 ft, Pumori is a remarkable summit just 8 kilometers to the west of Mt Everest. It forms a stunning background at the back of Kala Patthar whose tinny summit is for many the highlight of the EBC trek. It is certainly a renowned peak for mountaineers.

Langshisa Ri: Raises almost upright from near the head of the upper Langtang Valley. Trekkers looking to see the peak need to spend an additional day and hiking up the Langtang Valley from Kyanjin Gompa. It was first climbed in 1982 and now is climbed on a more frequent basis although still considered quite tough.

Mt Everest: Measuring a gigantic 8,848m Mt Everest is obviously the highest among the world's peak & is also possibly one of the most encouraging. It rests somewhat concealed from sight during EBC trek but its triangular summit poking above the clouds can usually be witnessed & remind us how minute we are actually.

So, which peaks of the Himalaya Nepal fascinates you the most? Whichever it is? Plan to add it into your upcoming Nepal holiday itinerary and you will surely have the adventurous time of your life.
