Being established in the year 1448 AD by Rao Bika Ji, Bikaner is a rich cultural heritage of Rajasthan. Apart from many other identities of the city, it is reckoned well for producing great warriors. The place always holds a significant value in the history and tourism sector of India. It is one amongst the most visited places in Rajasthan and also the most admired tourist destination in India. Junagrah Fort: The best place that writes for the magnificence of Bikaner is none another than Junagarh fort. Being built in the year 1593 by Raja Rai Singh, Junagarh Fort is a great accomplishment of Bikaner. The construction of the fort is a fine blend of Mughal, Gujarati and Rajput style architecture. Courtyards of the fort beautify the glory even more. Major attractions of fort are Anup Mahal, Chandra Mahal, Hawa Mahal, Dungar Mahal, Diwan-e-Khas and Ganga Mahal.

Lalgarh Palace: This beautiful and majestic palace of Bikaner was built by Maharaja Ganga Singh in the memory of his father in the year 1902. The palace is made from red sandstone and hence named as Lalgarh Palace. It is a great example of architectural brilliance of that time. The palace is a perfect blend of Mughal, European and Rajput architecture. You can very easily spot peacocks in the massive lawns of the palace. Only the museum of the palace is accessible to public and rest other part is not.

National Research Center for Camel: Also known as the camel city Bikaner is well known because it homes the national camel breeding farm. If you happen to be here then National Research Center for Camel is something that you should not miss out here. If you wish to see camels at their best habitat then you should visit this place. There are over 400 camels of over four breeds and they also include baby camels. The place is well known as the breeding ground for the camels.
