When people travel, many times they look for all inclusive deals or all inclusive vacations. They like the fact that everything is included in their vacation. That way they know how much they are going to spend. Most all inclusive resorts include your room, food, alcohol & activities. When we go on vacations, it is hard to predict or budget for the money we are going to spend at the resort. That is why vacationers love all inclusive resorts. However, they usually come with a price. They are definitely not cheap, but may be worth it in the long run. You will have to decide for yourself which way you would be better off. For my wife and I, we are not big eaters and we don't drink alcohol. So we can probably book our own trip and save money by staying at different resorts. However, if you are big eaters and usually have a large bar tab, then all inclusive resorts may be the way to go for you.

Well, they are able to reserve rooms in bulk. They have buying power that each of us on our own can't compete with. Just like a Costco, they have 71.2 Million members and they use that clout when ordering product from their vendors. They get the best prices and pass that savings on to us. The all inclusive resorts don't want us to join these travel clubs because they can make more money if you just book with them directly.
