Travel to Gran Canaria For a Holiday of a Lifetime!

With some truly heart-stopping landscapes, a long stretch of magnificent coastline, golden sandy beaches and ideal climate throughout the year, Gran Canaria, the second most inhabited island of the Canary Islands in the Atlantic Ocean, is a perfect holiday destination for travel enthusiasts. The island is just 60 miles away from the west coast of Africa.

Gran Canaria features a great wealth of flora and fauna, and beaches that see sunbathers all year round in a very small landmass. Playa del Ingles is the most popular beach on the island and attracts travelers from all around the world. Located in the south region of the island, this beach draws hordes of travelers every year.

Not to be outdone, there is another major tourist site on the island – the scenic village of Puerto de Mogan, which is also acknowledged as 'Little Venice', 'Venice of Canaries', and 'Playa de Mogan'. This high-end resort is world-famous for its canals, Friday open air market, beaches, serene surroundings, luxury accommodation, world-class restaurants and much more.

Puerto de Mogan resort is located in the mouth of the rocky Mogan valley; a place where it meets the sea. Whitewashed houses, narrow lanes, grand hotels, rocky hillsides, shimmering waters of the marina, golden hue sand on the beaches, and a line of yachts near the port create beautiful panoramic views for visitors.

It is the network of canals and bridges covered by Bougainvilleas and palm trees that make the travelers return to this resort again and again. Also, this is the reason why Puerto de Mogan has earned its nickname as “Little Venice”. The resort is filled with chic bars, shops, cafes, and restaurants, yet keep the appeal of a traditional fishing harbor.

The restaurants in Puerto de Mogan serve fresh fish along with some international cuisine. A trip on a submarine to explore the Atlantic Ocean, scuba diving, swimming and fishing are some great water activities offered by the marina. Panoramic sunset views, a stroll through the harbor and the old fishing town, and live music in the bustling bars in Mogan are experiences of a lifetime.

If you are not short on time you can also discover the unseen landscapes of the island. Puerto de Mogan is a perfect base to explore all the island has to offer. Its lavish apartments can give you a comfort of home away from home. The Puerto Mogan Apartments Gran Canaria are world-famous for their hospitality and amenities like private swimming pool, Jacuzzi, WI-Fi and much more.
