Vacation Villas Rental Italy, 3 Places You Cannot Miss!

Renting one of the vacation villas rental in Italy allows you to spend a relaxing way in a comfortable and familiar setting without renouncing the conveniences of a hotel. In fact, more and more tourists choose a villa with private garden, swimming pool, a solarium and SPA and a private cook to spend a relaxing vacation. If you go to Italy and choose this kind of accommodation, we suggest three places you should not miss before coming back home.

Take a walk in the heart of Rome
Apart from the Coliseum, the ancient Roman markets, the wonderful churches and the main monuments of the city, you should take a walk in the Pyramid area that is located in one of the central areas of the eternal city. It s not a movie set created for a new film set in Egypt, but a 12th century B.C monument, built in only 330 days by a group of former slaves. They built this monument in honor of Caius Cestius, the Roman magistrate who liberated them from their slavery condition. Beside the pyramid, you can find the Protestant cemetery where Jews, Muslims, Orthodox Christians and atheists were buried. It is particularly famous for hosting John Keats rests. In fact, he lived for a while in Rome, in his Piazza di Spagna apartment, which today houses an organization dedicated to his life, to Percy Bysshe Shelly and other Romantic poets. A few steps away are the former general markets (Mercati Generali) that local administration has transformed into a culture centre. It includes the Citta dei Giovani (City for young people), a media library, a veg restaurant, a fully equipped sports centre (with gyms, swimming pools and saunas) and many more places for entertainment.

Have a visit in Umbria, the green heart of Italy

A holiday in Umbria will bewitch you. The colors of the beautiful medieval town centers and of the astonishing nature change at every season. Mountains, hills and a wonderful green countryside for 90% cover this region. We suggest not to miss artistic towns like Perugia, with its Palazzo dei Priori, Fontana Maggiore and Assisi with its Basilica di San Francesco, a precious jewel created by Giotto, and Orvieto with its perfect Duomo. Umbria is characterized by its hundreds of small “borghi”, little villages with their own castle, church or bell tower, like Gubbio, Todi, Spello and Corciano. Around those villages, in the countryside, you can see hundreds of wonderful old farmhouses.

Take a tour in Val d'Orcia, one of the most beautiful areas of Tuscany. As for all the areas of Tuscany, Val d'Orcia has a rich and famous patrimony in wine and food to satisfy even the most demanding palate. In this part of the region, the pursuit of good food is rooted in the local culture where the links between the area and agriculture offer top quality products every year. Val d'Orcia is different from the other areas of the region for having great quality agriculture, protected by its trademark certificating its authenticity. The trademark “Val d'Orcia” marks out the sweet honey produced in this area, the extra virgin olive oil, the pecorino cheese and saffron as well.
