What Type of Accommodation Can You Find in Perth or Melbourne?

Because of its beautiful landscapes, top quality service and affordable prices, Australia attracts over 5 million tourists each year. If you are considering spending your next holiday there, we guarantee you will have the time of your life. With its sunny beaches, its vast gastronomical culture, beautiful parks and museums, Australia will not leave you time to get bored. It is a combination between modern technology and unspoiled nature and for those of you planning a trip to this amazing continent in the near future we have a series of accommodation options in Perth and Melbourne.

When it comes to finding a place to stay for a holiday or a longer trip, people have two options: doing all the reservations themselves or relying on the help of a travel or real estate agency. Each of these options has its up and downsides, that being one of the main reasons why it is best to chose wisely. If you were to pick an agency, find one that is reliable, has relevant experience in the field and has organized trips or has rented apartments in your desired location before. Even though finding your accommodation with the help of an agency will cost your more money because they charge a commission, it is a much safer procedure. Like we have mentioned before, you can do the booking yourself and save some money, but there is always the risk of being tricked.

If you are planning a shorter stay, for like, let's say a, week or two the maximum, the best thing to do is go for a hotel. There are hundreds of such buildings in Melbourne alone, and all you have to do is compare their offers. Take your time, and do not book the first room you see, as you may find something better. There is always the possibility of finding a room in a 5 star hotel at the price of a 3 star one, and if you choose to plan your trip with the help of a tourism agency, you will most likely be offered such a deal. Think about what kind of utilities you need for your room. For example, if you are planning to use the hotel just for sleeping, you may not need 100+ channels on your TV, right? However, you will need a good breakfast included in your stay, which will reduce your costs considerably because you will not have go to a restaurant.

Another option you have when it comes to where to live in Australia is renting an apartment. This is more suitable for people who are planning a long term trip, who have been relocated from work, or who are on a business trip and want a home away from home. It is also suitable for families travelling with children, as you will be able to keep your little ones in a home like-environment. Some apartment owners will also rent their properties for shorter periods of time, but you may end up paying a little bit more than you would regularly pay on a hotel room. However, cost can be significantly reduced from other parts. For example, you will not have go to restaurant every night, order in, or eat fast food, as you will have your own kitchen, where you can cook whatever you want. You will also have access to a personal and fully functional bathroom, with a washing machine and a dryer, but also to other aspects such as cable TV, Wifi, BBQ area, parking space, gym, pool and other facilities.
