One of the most common questions we get about Bangkok is ‘Where to sleep in Bangkok?’. It’s the right question! and the reason that its the right one is because it can change your trip to Bangkok Thailand from a great and comfortable vacation to a bitter one.

The first think that you need to ask yourself is what are you looking for in Bangkok, Is it shopping in Bangkok which is very popular, Are you a Backpacker? Do you look for a romantic vacation? Nightlife? business? Luxury? etc..

Hotels in Bangkok are relativity cheap and usually with a very good service and facilities. If you add the right district (Road/Street) and the right hotel in Bangkok, the chances you’d have a great vacation in Bangkok. Here are some the areas/district in the city that will answer the question ‘Where to sleep in Bangkok?’:

Sukhumvit Road

Sukhumvit is one of the longest road in Thailand and one of the main artery in the city. We are going to talk about the segment between Sky Train BTS Phong Phong station to Ploen Chit station.

In that section you will find wonderful shopping malls, endeless restaurants, the largest ammount of hotels in Bangkok, Luxury hotels, attractions for all family, immpresive architecture, and main nightlifes destinations such as Soi Cowboy and Nana Plaza.

No doudt Sukhumvit road is one of the most popular centers in Bangkok, its busy during the day and during the night. it’s easy to move from place to place in the road beacuase of the sky train, BTS.

Most of the hotels in Sukhumvit located around the stations and around the shopping malls.

Siam

Siam area is physically and georaphic attached to Sukhumvit, by numbers its before Sukhumvit road. Siam district is around Siam Station but lets expand it a little bit and say that it could be from Ploen chit station, siam and maybe National Stadiom station.

At Siam there are few of the known, luxury and unique design shopping malls in Bangkok, such as Central world, Siam Paragon, Siam Center, Siam discovery and around the corner from them the famous MBK shopping mall.

almost in every Mall you will find cinnema, restaurant, many cafe shops, different attractions, some will offers luxury stores of clothes brand and cars and more..
