Why You Should Not be Afraid of Travelling Alone in India

It is sometimes hard to adapt when travelling to a new location due to the unknown locations and people. You must always know that even if you are travelling alone, the people of this country are incredibly kind and will look after you.

Hospitality – Atithi Devo Bhava is a phrase that is taken from the Hindu holy scripture which means the guest is equivalent to God. India has stayed true to this principle as this thought has been emboldened in the minds of the youth by the previous generations. You are bound to receive warmth and hospitality from everyone in this country. If you are starting your journey from North India, you can stay at any 3-star hotels in Manesar or Delhi to visit nearby places conveniently.

Confidence – A large part of solo travelling is simply a test of the confidence that you possess. You will not be able to enjoy your time in India if you are constantly worried about things. You must try to keep calm and relax in order to make friends and understand the country.

Interaction – Wherever you travel in India, you are bound to meet kind people who will help you integrate into their society if you choose to interact with them. English is one of the main languages spoken in India and you can strike up a conversation on the bus with a fellow passenger or even try to talk with shoppers that sit on the roadside.

Crowded – With a population of 1.3 billion people, you will never feel truly alone in India. Even in the remotest villages, you will find people living peacefully with families. Consider hotels in Gurgaon for a considerable ease of travel when exploring.

Women – You might have heard about the harrowing experiences that some women may have faced in India. Most Indians have become aware of this and therefore try in their own way to safeguard the dignity of the women.

GPS – Almost every one of us has a mobile device with an active internet and GPS facility. Travelling throughout India becomes a whole lot easier with the availability of this facility.

Uncertainty – The uncertainty of exploring an unknown location alone without someone having to guide you can be a worrying thing for many. But for some, who are fond of solo traveling, the thrill that this has to offer is pretty moving. India is a prime location for this as although you are alone, the people make you feel at home.

Solo travelling is something that not everyone will fancy. Some will obviously be in need of some sort of company with them in order to travel to a different location. But for solo travellers, the thrill and freedom of the solo experience become emotional and attractive.
