Or, fly into Karachi and you could laze on the beach in exclusive neighbourhoods. Finally, travel to Lahore, Pakistan’s cultural hub, and you could visit world class galleries. When you are ready to go, contact Brightsun Travel about cheap air tickets to Pakistan that will take you to cities across the country.

Islamabad

Fly into Pakistan’s capital and you could access the famous Karakoram Mountains. Stay in the city centre though, and you will find the old and new Pakistan, with new restaurants and gentrified neighbourhoods sitting alongside some of the largest mosques in the world. In the Margalla Hills National Park you could go on a rock climbing adventure right in the heart of the city. And for a day trip to remember, you could visit one of the city’s star attractions, the UNESCO World Heritage site of Taxila, a short 32 kilometres outside the centre, thought to be home to one of the first universities in the world.

Karachi

Just an hour’s drive from Karachi is the incredible Kirthar National Park, Pakistan’s second largest protected area, where you can spot leopard in their natural habitat. But stay a while in the city and you could enjoy some of Pakistan’s incredible beaches, like French Beach. Or why not kick back in the galleries and museums of Clifton, an exclusive neighbourhood in Karachi, before heading to Clifton Beach, to join a range of festivities at the weekend? And, to immerse yourself in Pakistani culture, you could head to Ziarat of Abdullah Shah Gazi, and experience Qawwali Islamic devotional singing.

Lahore

Lahore is a melting pot of cultures in Pakistan, and boasts incredible spiritual sites that attract pilgrims from across the region, plus a list of galleries that could keep you entertained for days. Start your tour of Lahore at the Badshahi Mosque, one of the world’s largest, and the Mosque of Wazir Khan, said to be one of the most ornately decorated Mughal-era mosques in the world. Then onto the Alhamra Art Gallery and here you could explore Lahore’s largest permanent collection of artwork. End your city tour with a trip to the city’s star attraction, the famous Lahore Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Peshawar

Peshawar is an important city in Pakistan and is surrounded by three great mountain ranges of the world – the Hindu Kush, Karakoram, and Nanga Parbat. The city also has a prominent position at the entrance to the famous Khyber Pass. Here you could discover ancient religious and historical architecture, plus incredible markets reflecting the city’s important position at the heart of trading activities in Pakistan. Or, take the short 1 hour drive to Islamabad, and you could pass spectacular mountain landscapes, UNESCO World Heritage sites and ancient settlements like Taxila.
