DOs & DON’Ts for a Wedding Destination

The wedding is no doubt the most auspicious occasion of one's life. Everybody wants to do something special to make it a memorable one. Nowadays, a series of events usually happen like a pre-wedding photo shoot and so on to celebrate the occasion. In most of the cases, you need a well-maintained and decorated place to execute the whole thing. Here comes the necessity of a wedding destination. They are meant to cater to all of your needs when it comes to managing a grand event like a wedding.

Generally, a wedding destination is equipped with a banquet, bar, lawn and in some cases with a plush pool. In addition, some destinations also have ample space to arrange an open-air party and so on. Every destination has their own rules and regulations and they seek the kind cooperation of the occupants to abide by the same. Here are some common DOs & DON'Ts that is applicable for almost all of the wedding destinations near Kolkata.

DOs: –

  1. Always make sure you book your venue early enough so that you don't have to compromise with the venue of your choice.
  2. Let the venue authorities know about your plans & programs in well advance. That will not only help them in organising the whole thing smoothly but also they would be able to give their best.
  3. If that particular destination has their own policies, always obey the same. Keep in mind that policies are in place to ensure the safety & security of the occupants. Therefore, the unnecessary argument leads to nowhere.
  4. Each wedding destination has its own parking provisions. Make sure, you are well aware of those things. If you are expecting a huge number of guests with private vehicles, make the concerned authority aware of the same so that they can make some substitute arrangements to accommodate all the cars.
  5. Before submitting the advance or booking amount, try to go through their refund policy meticulously. Otherwise, you might be in the troubled water if you have to cancel the booking.
  6. Maintain decency and do not play loud music beyond the restricted volume. Make sure that your enjoyment is not causing any inconvenience to other occupants.

DON'Ts: –

  1. Do not through trash here and there. Try to maintain the basic cleanliness of the ambience.
  2. If the destination has a swimming pool, make sure whoever from your guest list is using the same have a proper swimming costume.
  3. Do not break into the privacy of other occupants. Most of these destinations have separate banquets and arrangements to run multiple events, parties & conferences simultaneously. So as a responsible occupant it is your duty to respect the privacy of others.
