This castle winery offers hand-crafted Italian-style wines that include Merlot, Primitivo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese. 4. Spottswoode
Spottswode is a true family-owned historic winery located in the west side of St. Helena. It was established in 1882 by George Schonewald. The family is engaged in producing a small portfolio of four delightful varietals including Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Miniscule amounts of Syrah and Albarino. The tour is available at around $75 for per person from Monday to Friday at 10 am. Only 10 people are allowed for the tour at a time, which means advance reservation is necessary for it.
