Breakfast at the hotel is an exceptional occasion and the endless options, which include pastries, omelettes, cereals, pancakes, fruit, smoked salmon and lots more, mean that there’s bound to be something for even the fussiest little ones. They can try something different every day if they wish!
With children, eating out can be tricky, especially when you are on holiday. Choice is the most important thing, and that’s something you have in abundance at Princesa Yaiza when it comes to food. When you can make a selection from eight restaurants, there is bound to be one that appeals to everyone in the family. Three of them are buffet style, and across the board there is a wide choice of international, Italian and Mexican dishes.
A particular favourite with fans of al fresco dining is Isla de Lobos. Sitting outside on the terrace is a lovely distraction for the children and the food is fabulous – there really is something that suits every palate.
Family Friendly Activities
Kikoland is the onsite children’s area and it features two pools allocated just for the little ones. The space is divided into areas designated for different ages, all the way up to 18. There is the Teeny Club for the teenagers, with workshops and other activities, and for younger ones, the Gremlyn Group offers a lot of fun.
The family area has a large pool, tennis courts, a gym and fitness classes.The high-class spa is ideal for the grown ups when they need a well deserved pampering treatment. Throughout the day there are several classes hosted by the hotel, including Spanish lessons and African dancing. These are aimed at the whole family and dancing is a really fun activity to try while on holidays in Lanzarote.
You won’t have to worry about the youngsters in the evenings, either. The games room will have everyone playing table tennis or air hockey, and the children’s disco, onsite entertainers and evening show are always a hit.
With so much on offer at this beautiful hotel, it is hard to imagine needing to venture out, but if a beach day or two is on the agenda, there’s one on the doorstep. The town is close by too, if you fancy exploring further afield. It is a lovely spot for a meal out or a bit of souvenir shopping.
