Cape Town a City of Joy

Airport

Cape Town international airport is 20 km from Cape Town city. From the airport you can hire a car or take a meter taxi or you can catch a city bus to reach into the city. The meter taxi will cost you in between R300 to R400, that is flat rate or you agree by meter reading. The city bus will cost you R60 for adult and R30 for minor. The bus leaves for city town every 20 minutes, from 5Am to till 10Pm.

Some of the famous places you should not miss on your visit to Cape Town.

Table Mountain Cableway was established in 1929 takes visitor to the top of Table Mountain in a rotating cable car so that the tourist can see all round with huge windows in the peripheral. Cable car takes about 10 – 15 minutes to reach to the top. From the top of mountain you have magnificent view of Cape Town city and its surrounding places and Atlantic Ocean. You can also see Cape Town Stadium, Robben and Camps bay beach from top of mountain.

Table Mountain is rich in biodiversity and is home to 1500 species of plants and most of them Fynbos means “fine bush “. These are only six floral kingdoms in the world, Fynbos is occurring in only one country. Table Mountain reaches 1085 m in height. Table Mountain is the self – service restaurant where you can enjoy and refresh yourself with nature, play with the winds, smile with flower, and kiss the Sun.

The Cable car only operates when the weather permits and does not take booking else. Ticket can be purchased from the counter or can be booked online. There is also another way to reach the mountaintop. You can reach the top by walking from Silver mine nature reserve or Kirstenbosch national botanical garden. In the way you can enjoy the nature without spending any cent.

Peninsula

The Peninsula is the home of the world most beautiful passes. Chapman Peak drive and sea side village will make you forget about worries and you will be magnetized by the Natural Beauty. Do you know Peninsula has one the highest sea cliffs in the world? The Peninsula is made of Hout bay, Chapman's Peak Drive and Fish Hoek.
