Greater Accra Region

These two cities is the Country most industrial and commercial centre. Kotoka International airport is the leading airport in Accra and it is considered the most premier international airport is located 12 kms from the city centre. The airport is big enough for large aircraft such as Boeing 747. The airport is managed by Ghana Airports Company limited. There is number of flight option available and this airport is connected to all major cities around the world. Flight for Accra is available though major international flight. If you are looking for cheaper flight, make sure to visit in off season when the rush is less. Accra has been the Ghana's capital since 1857. It is spreading along the Atlantic coast; the city is well equipped with famous great value hotels, superb restaurant and nightclubs. The National Museum

It is located on Barnes Road, houses a large collection of Ghanaian historical treasures. There is National Theatre which resembles like a Chinese house. One of the museum ground floors is devote to the temporary exhibition ranging from dyed fabrics to scared artifacts, for example, the celebration of Ashanti ancestor stools.

The Du Bios Memorial Center for Pan

A source of inspiration for many, this centre has large collection of research library and manuscripts, as well as grave of famous African – American scholar and their wife.

A house declared a National monument by the Government of Ghana where remain of the man and ashes of his wife rest in peace. In the W.E. B Du Bois, memorial Centre for Pan Culture is dedicated to the man who has spent all his life in struggle for the freedom of the black people.

The Black and white rectangular building sits in the middle of raised walls that form a magnificent landscaped dotted with trees, flower and pathway.

Accra Zoo

This Zoo is located at Kanda. It is open daily between 9.30 am to 5 Pm. There is small collection of animals but they are fascinating. Some of the animals are like Leopards, Crocodiles, monkey, snake and Duikers.
