1. Rink at Rockefeller Center
Visit the world famous Rink at Rockefeller Center in Manhattan for some of the best ice skating in town. 2. Carnegie Hall

3. The Apollo Theater
Celebrate Black History Month in Harlem at the world famous Apollo Theater. See the landmark where musical greats James Brown, Aretha Franklin, and the Jackson 5 got their starts at the Open House (February 3-4). You can also catch the season premiere of Amateur Night on February 21st, where you might see the next great stars on stage.
4. Tenement Museum of New York City
Visit one of the most unique museums in the city, open everyday except Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Day. This museum tells the long history of New York City’s immigrants and their restored apartments and businesses at 97 and 103 Orchard Street on the Lower East Side. Speak to the friendly residents, who are actors representing the hundreds of families who lived in these buildings. It’s like a time machine to the distant past!
5. The Bronx Zoo
Think about visiting the Bronx Zoo on a nice clear day in winter! You will miss the huge crowds during the summertime, and get front row views of the lions, tigers, and bears. One of the world’s largest zoos, Bronx Zoo is open from 10am to 4:30pm daily during this season.
