How can one define success? It can mean unique things to different people and is often not related to fame, money and power. Canadian entrepreneur Denis Vincent is known redefine standards for people around him. Best recognized for his contribution to numerous industries, Denis has come a long way in his career, which spans over three decades. In this post, we will talk about his modest start and how his dreams have paved ways for his expansion and growth.
Passion to explore
Denis never had it easy in his initial days. He began his career as an administrator with P.R.C.S. construction insulation in 1983 and worked for a year. Soon he realized his passion for business and the need to understand sales and marketing. As a sales executive, he has worked for Moto Bateau for more than five years for boat and motorcycle sales. During this period, he found tremendous interest in general business activities and a keen inclination towards the aviation industry. He continued to work in sales for many international projects, and in less than ten years, he was ready to launch his private firm – Heli Vincent inc., which now deals in sales and dry leasing of helicopter and airplanes. Denis continues to remain in the forefront of all the business activities of the company and has managed to create jobs to help the industry.
Beyond profits
Time and again, Denis has expressed his deep interest in exploring other business sectors. In 2000, he entered the real estate industry and had worked for many projects. His name has been strongly linked with some major mergers and acquisitions. In one of his recent interviews, Denis talked about his experience in real estate and how people are busy accusing and writing wrong things about each other. He added that these small hiccups never stop him from trying new things, and his interest in real estate remains intact. Apart from housing, Denis is also associated with Strong Arm Labour & Contracting as the chief financial officer. The top management has firmly credited his inputs on many subjects.
Not for money
Denis is particularly passionate about aviation and is a trained pilot himself. Over the years, he has accumulated over 14,000 TT, which he expects to increase in months to come. He has been in charge of one mono motor flight Quebec to Madagascar and has flown coast to coast in Canada. He admits that flying remains his only indulgence after business. Denis is also known to many for his active involvement in a number of charities. In many interviews, he has expressed his desire to expand his work as a philanthropist. His team often works in close collaboration with local institutions to help for various causes.
No wonder, Denis and his story are inspiring and moving at the same time. His work and dedication prove the fact that people don't need means, but a will to succeed. As we write, Denis continues to collaborate on new projects and subjects.
