JetBlue and its policy
JetBlue is an American low class flight. The airline serves destinations in the united States. They provide superior service in minimal amount of price and provide the best possible services in the customers travel experience.
JetBlue airways allows travel agents to cancel flights in one days time after the booking. If after this cancellation happens the airline levies a penalty fee for changed. It is the duty of the travel agent to inform the boarders about the policy before hand.
Ticket changed prior to the departure would remain open and can be used in one year from the date of issuance. Here is the policy for the change in flight:
- Non Refundable fare-when exchanging the open ticket the ticket would have a residual value. You will have to contact the JetBlue reservation number they would perform the ticket exchange for you and open a travel account with them. It would need your email credentials for this procedure. The travel bank could only be redeemed on JetBlue and not in any other airlines.
- Refundable Fare- In this a full refund is permitted only if the flight was cancelled prior to the scheduled departure. Refunds would be proceeded as per the policy of the airlines. Flights which were not cancelled prior to the departure will get no refund. For people you cancelled the flight later the airlines would issue a debit memo in the amount of fare and plus levy a service charge to the agency those who do not follow refundable policy. Flight changes on refundable fares that have been done prior to the departure are not having any penalty.
- Government fares- The airlines provide them with a special procedure and refund here in any case is permitted. They are applicable to the availability and applicable difference in air fare.
Below listed are the exceptions wherein in case of changes because of the below listed there would be no penalty caused:
- Death
- Illness
- Mosaic Members
