Hadimba Temple

If you have followed Mahabharata, then we are assured that you have heard of Hadimba Devi. If not, here is the brief intro – Hadimba Devi was wife of Bheem, one of the five Pandavas. She was also the mother of a great warrior Ghatotkacha. This temple is an ancient cave and is dedicated to Hadimba Devi. The walls are made of mud-washed stone and supported by wood which is carved intricately. The top has four layers of pyramids. There are few hotels in Manali nearby which can accommodate your companions of the trip. The simple but captivating beauty of the temple and surrounding Cedar Forest adds a star to this place.

Jogini Falls

After Hadimba Temple, this is the second place which is worshiped as a symbol of shakti, and Jogini Falls is also known as a shakti peeth. People have religious faith in the village goddess Jogini. The place is also known for its natural cascading falls, which is surrounded by snow covered peaks. To reach Jogini falls, you have the choice of covering a 2 km trek.

Short Note: Mall Road can offer you the best shopping spree. If you want to spend some time alone with nature, then Van Vihar is your place. The tranquility of the place will definitely win you over. Or, you can visit the Beas River. The calming currents in the river will help you relax.
