Nasik is the fourth largest city in the state of Maharashtra. Ramkund – Also known as Triveni Sangam, the place is the holy site where exists a sacred tank called Ramkund, which is believed to be the tank where Lord Rama bathe during his stay in Nasik. The tank is also the site where river Godavari meets river Varuni and Tharuni.

Trimbakeshwar – Located about 30 k.m. away from the city is another holy site called Trimbakeshwar. It is a Lord Shiva site housing one of the 12 Jyotirlingas. The place is one of the holiest sites in the country and the Shivaites see it with utmost reverence.
