Surrey is a beautiful part of the world and travellers usually head there for the peaceful, countryside scenery. The area is perfect for hiking or heading out in the car for a trip to a village pub or restaurant. Of course the British weather is something that can't be relied on and it could unfortunately rain. Hotels in Surrey is one of those amazing places that even if there is bad weather guests can still have a wonderful time. One of the best places to head to for a great British break is the Carlton Mitre Hotel. This four-star luxury residence is found in the gorgeous village of East Molesey, in Surrey, based on a riverbank with lavish rooms and suites.

Hatchlands Park, in Guildford, is a stunning Georgian mansion that was built in the 1750s. There is a collection of magnificent furniture and paintings there as well as a kitchen tearoom in the cobbled courtyard.

Coral Reef Waterworld is a fantastic place to take children to for a lively day of splashing around in the pools using the water slides, rapids and pirate ship. This is also a great place for tourists who want to relax with a spa, steam room and sauna. The Craggy Island Climbing Centre is found in Guildford and has hundreds of climbing routes on many different types of surfaces. For a relaxing day out guests can venture to the excellent Denbies Wine Estate, in Dorking, that provides informative tours. Guests can of course spend some time in their excellent hotel.
