With the introduction of these new flights from Canada to China and vice versa, people will have more travel options for the journey between the distant continents of Asia and North America. The flag carrier will be operating a Boeing 777-300ER on a codeshare basis with Air Canada for passenger transport between the two nations. These new direct Beijing-Montreal flights are in accord with the goals of Star Alliance that aims to offer convenient and seamless services to customers. On Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, non-stop flights from Beijing International Airport are scheduled to depart at 1:00 pm and reach the destination city at 1:50 pm local time. For a return journey from Montreal to the Asian country, a flight departs at 4:20 pm, reaching its destination at 6:00 pm.
