One of the spectacular pieces of architecture can be seen at Kochi. The St. Francis church in Kochi is considered to be India's oldest European church. The Church was initially constructed in 1503 by Portuguese Franciscan friars. The prominent feature of this church was that Adventurer Vasco da Gama was buried on this spot for 14 years.
