Here are just a few of Honolulu highlights happening in April.

KI Yoga Classes

Make your inner senses come alive with KI energy yoga! Learn breathing techniques, moving mediation, and connect your mind, body, and spirit. This is only one way to revitalize you on the beautiful island of Hawaii. These classes are held weekly near the airport in a beautiful park setting.

Dinosaurs Unleashed Exhibit

Interactive family fun awaits you at the Bishop Museum. The exhibit is on display at the Castle Memorial Building. More than a dozen life-like dinosaurs in miniature perform their animatronic stomps much to the delight of their visitors. This exhibit runs from Feb 28 to Sept 7th, 2015.

At one of the exhibits you will learn about the Maiasaura. This dinosaur has mother like qualities and cares for her baby and a nest of eggs. You will be thrilled by the Tyrannosaurus Rex display as it thrills you to learn about its characteristics and demeanor. There is interactive stations in which visitors will get hands on experience if they wish to do so.

The interactive stations give visitors an up close and personal experience as they are given the opportunity to create colorful bone imprints, take part in a dinosaur dig, and even control a robotic dinosaur. Lots of fun and excitement for the whole family!

The Dinosaurs Unleashed Exhibit is open Wednesday to Monday from 9 am to 5 pm. The museum is closed Tuesdays and on Christmas Day. There is an admission fee to enter. Free parking available on campus.

Kuhio Beach Hula Show – Joan “Aunty Pudgie” Young And Puamelia

You will surely not want to miss this entertainment! Some of Hawaii's finest dance troupes hit the stage to entertain you. Hawaiian performers and authentic music is what you will see at the Kuhio Beach Hula show, featuring Joan “Aunty Pudgie” Young and Puamelia.

This event takes place outdoors each Thursday during the month of April. The event will run from 6.30-7.50 if the weather cooperates. Bring your camera and something for you to sit on There is also seating on the grass. The Kuhio Beach Hula Show takes place, beachside at Uluniu and Kalakaua Avenue, Waikiki.

Kuhio Beach Hula Show – Ainsley Halemanu And Hula Halau Ka Liko O Ka Palai

The Kuhio Beach Hula Mound is where the Kuhio Beach Hula Show takes place each Tuesday from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. during the month of April. This event takes place as long as the weather cooperates. You are welcome to bring along something for you to sit on, whether it is beach chairs or mats. There is also seating on the grass. Bring along your camera as you head on over to the Kuhio Beach Hula Mound, near the Duke Kahamamoku statue.

2015 Filipino Film Festival

Be thrilled and learn how you can make Filipino pop up dinners as this annual festival features the New York based chef Yana Gilbuena! Learn her techniques and discover the flavors of Mindanao, Visayas, and Luzon!

At the Filipino Film Festival 2015, you will explore and learn about the Philippines' riuch culture in I boi language feature films, documentaries, and standout romantic comedies. Some of the country's leading cinematic voices will be features in these films. You will also enjoy watching a documentary about boxing legend Manny Pacquiao.

Tickets for this even also include the Salo Project Pop-Up dinner and a no host bar. Namets a gastronomic romantic comedy will also be shown. Opening night reception happens on April 18th, from 6-7.30 pm. This is something that you surely do not want to miss!

Oahu Nature Tours

The Oahu Nature Tours enables visitors to view rainforests, plants, waterfalls, birds and points of interest in Oahu. You will have a chance to see Hanauma Bay and Diamond Head Crater as you take part in a hiking and adventure experience provided by Oahu Nature Tours. These tours are a great way to get out and explore the raw and natural beauty of the island of Oahu. A must do adventure for visitors to the island.
