There are some neat little towns in the United States that everyone should visit at least once. Following is the list of a few of these towns that have some interesting facts and sites to offer.

1. Corinth, New York

Also known as the gateway to the Adirondacks, since it is the only place that shares a border with the Adirondacks. Unlike New York City (it pops into the minds when you speak of the state), the state of New York is very green with streams and lakes of various sizes situated throughout. If you like natural beauty, this is the place to go. Here, you can visit the Hudson River along with the Ledge Rock Hill Winery. You can even go for the White water rafting.

2. Sedona, Arizona

Sedona is located in North Arizona. Unlike the rest of the state, this place is much greener and cooler. In addition, this place has got a mystical vibe; almost something like the Grand Canyon. The main street of the town has an endless number of restaurants offering a wide range of pizzas and Mexican food.

3. Lake Placid, New York

The place has got a cool electric vibe. It almost feels like a miniature San Francisco at times. It has been one of the sites for the winter Olympics. The view of the lake is just phenomenal, while you can also visit the site of the Olympic Games and take a part in the competitions that are hosted there.

4. Santa-Cruz, California

It is advised to go there in the fall or during the winter season. The town will be completely empty except for the college students and the residents. These people have some of the coolest cultural events hosted in the United States. Here, you can visit the beach that has white sand and clear water; you can hike and walk through the university and even check out the classic nickelodeon theater that features old movies.

5. Lexington, Massachusetts

This place is one of the hubs of the colonial American History. If you have an appetite for the American history, this is the place to go. You can watch the civil war, battle reenactments here along with going to the “shot heard around the world” spot.

6. Ithica, New York

Ithica would be a twin city to Santa Cruz. Except that it has a lake instead of the ocean. Here, you can visit the Ivy League Cornell University and take a ferry tour of the lake.
