Delhi is no doubt a commercial hub for business. The economy of the city is developing day by day. With the setting of many multinational companies and international business the city is no doubt is going to be India's most well established and developed city in the years to come. There are a number of things that lures tourists here and one of them is the India International Trade Fair.

Since it's inauguration in the year 1980, the India International Trade Fair Delhi has been the hot spot destination for all the businessmen in India. This is one part of the year when the capital city witnesses the visit of the stalwarts of the Indian Business. Traders and businessmen from all parts of the world arrive here in order to be a part of this mega event. Every year, during November the fair is held at Pragati Maidan. The fair is normally held from 14th to 27th November every year. The first day of the fair starts with cultural performances by people from various states of India.

One of the most interesting things about the fair is that every state is allowed to display their products in their stalls that are exclusively designed only for them. This not only generates sales but also help to attract customers of the respective states in large numbers. One can witness a bevy of celebrities, famous personalities as well as politicians inaugurating the event. A wide range of products starting from automobiles, garments, household appliances, beverages, furnitures and body care products are displayed here for sale. Every year the fair is organized with different themes. Last year, the theme was 'Skilling India'. This year the fair is organized with the theme of 'Inclusive Growth'.

The Fair provides an excellent platform for all those thriving entrepreneurs to showcase their products in the fair. Moreover, businesses also get a large number of target audiences, as people from each and every class of the society arrive here in search of their preferred products. Due to the variety in the type of products offered and the flocking of people from all around the world, makes the India International Trade Fair Delhi as one of the biggest trade fairs in the world.

There are two modes of commuting to the Trade Fair. One can either take a DTC Bus or can also arrive at the place through Delhi Metro.

Since tourists as well as businessmen arrive here in large numbers it sometimes become difficult for them to find a good accommodation in Delhi or a low budget hotel. But a large number of hotels are there in close proximity of the trade fair. These hotels have got all the basic facilities with excellent services. Due to the intense rush of people, the occupancy rates in the hotels during this time of the year is quite year. Hence, it is quite better to book the rooms in advance or a month before arriving. Doing this can enable you to get a room at a low rate.
