Keep the following insider tips in mind to enjoy staying in Sin City to the fullest.

Wear comfortable clothes.

Since Las Vegas is found in the desert, the temperature here can rise up to 115 degrees in summer. So, even though you like to use comfortable clothing such as shorts, sundresses or tank tops underneath the sun's scorching rays, especially when you are taking a walk along Fremont St. or the Strip, you would most likely freeze upon entering a casino. Though you may feel that there is something in the middle, there is enough reason why casinos tend to surprisingly maintain a thermostat of 60 degrees. That is why it is practical to bring a light jacket/sweater, which you can use when you go inside. Do not be misled, though, when visiting Vegas during wintertime (Halloween to Valentine's Day). It is a must to bring your jacket, especially when the winds are particularly strong. Locals may already have thin blood due to the climate but you have to realize that it is a lot colder than you can think of. Fashion is a top priority over comfort with regard to shoes in places such as Tao, Marguess and Hakkasan nightclubs. Nevertheless, as an advice, use tennis shoes or Birkenstock when constantly moving around during the day, shopping, hopping from one casino to another or waiting in line at tourist spots.

Make the Most of the 24 hour opening of businesses

Many businesses are either open round the clock or until a very late time. For this reason, you can easily be spoiled by Vegas lifestyle. When traveling, you can get upset if you cannot dine after 9 pm or when gas stations or groceries have closed by this time. So, when you go to Vegas, eat anything you want at any place, even if it is already 3 am simply because you can. If you want to relax after a show, visit some great spots such as the Peppermint for some cocktails or dessert. Both the coffee shop and lounge are open 24/7 and come with the Old Vegas ambience. Each major resort along the Strip as well as downtown Vegas has a bar and cafe, which are open 24 hours.

Get Pleasure from Watching People

If you enjoy people-watching, Las Vegas has lots of wonderful spots to visit. When you reach the Caesars' The Forum Shops, dine at the patio of Spago or The Cheesecake Factory. Whatever you are eating, whether it is lunch or dinner, visit the fountains fronting these venues like other people do. Other bars and restaurants with patios that show amazing views of tourists strolling along the Strip are the following: Cabo Wabo Cantina and PR Rock Bar and Grill located at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, Mon Ami Gabi found at Paris Las Vegas, Rhumbar at The Mirage and Fatburger across CityCenter.

Obey the Law as an Obedient Pedestrian

Whenever you cross the street, look to the left and right. This is especially true when you go across the Strip. Traffic may be intimidating. Perhaps this is caused by the dancing fountains, light, erupting volcano or Eiffel Tower. Whatever it is, drivers find it hard to follow the main traffic rules. So, when you see the word “Walk”, make sure to still look to the left and right as you carefully continue in crossing the street.
