Mozambique may still remain unexplored but acclaimed as the city most over poured with natural beauty in Africa. Mozambique's attractions range from ancient forts, paradise islands, natural parks and bustling cities. It may be less visited as many people are still unaware of it's mysticism but promises to surely enchant you on your visit to this nature's paradise. Here are a few to acknowledge before you book your flights to Africa :-

Turtle Nesting in Ponta Mamoli- Ponta Mamoli is an isolated holiday destination and is around 25 kilometres from the Kosi Bay Border post. It is the place famous for seeing the act of turtle nesting.

Female turtles of Loggerhead and Leatherback species come here to lay eggs along the beaches and this beautiful natural phenomenon could be viewed during the months of November until March. When the sun goes down these turtles crawl along the beach side, dig holes and lay upto 300 egg on an average. After this they cover themselves with sand and crawl down the sea. Ponta Mamoli is also known for it's long and splendid beach with clear and warm water even in winters,which is ideal for snorkelling, deep sea diving and fishing.

Snorkelling with Whale Sharks at the Tofu Bay – Mozambique is much reputed for the best marine life in most exotic natural setting. Only here it is possible to go snorkelling with whale sharks that is beyond imagination and a thrilling experience altogether. Tofu Bay has a long stretch of golden sand dunes and a pure beach with a crystal clear bay. The reefs of the Tofu Bay offer best opportunity to snorkel with whale sharks and Mantas round the year. The season usually starts from November and goes till May.

Eagle Eye View from a Microlight – Mozambique excels to surprise you with so many activities that are unique and exciting. One of them is the experience to get an aerial view of the place from a microlight that flies at extremely low height and it's directions could be manipulated as per the interesting sight below. The region that is down could be explored in this exciting way. Whales, dolphins and turtles could be spotted easily. Soar high up or hover lower to get a distinct view of the dense forests, wetlands and sea shores.

Fishing as the Big Game – Mozambique offers the most suitable sea water for unique fishing experience. Since 50 years this place has been centre of attraction for the fishermen who get a huge variety and abundance of fishes in the area throughout the year. There are five islands in Mozambique namely Benguerra, Maraque, Banque, Bazaruto and Santa Corolina which lie along the Mozambican channel. All the islands are famous for the Fishing game and different species of fishes could be spotted and hunted at different time of the year.

Iron House in Maputo – The Iron House in Maputo is one of the heritage gems from Mozambique's treasure. The entire house is made of iron including the ceiling, the walls, the floor etc and was designed by Gustav Eifel. The splendour of the house is one of it's kind and was built as the governor's house in the late 19th century. The areas nearby the iron house are worth exploring further like the beautiful Catholic Cathedral and the old fort. This iron house completes your vacation well spent in Mozambique

Jardim Tunduru Botanical Gardens – Amid the bustling city of Maputo with chirping streets lies the Jardim Tunduru Botanical Gardens. Designed by Thomas Honney in the 19th century this beautiful garden with shade and captivating serenity provides repose to the visitors. While exploring other nearby attractions of the Maputo city on foot like the Cathedral, Natural History Museum etc the journey through the Botanical gardens is an awe-inspiring experience which should not be missed in any condition.
